Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. Colorado Wedding Photographer | University Club of Denver

April 3, 2015

I had the pleasure of photographing Chelsea and Noe’s wedding at the University Club of Denver a couple of weeks ago. The venue has a beautiful old school look inside with dark wood and gorgeous stained glass windows featuring the logos from various universities throughout the country. Chelsea and Noe prepared for the big day just a block away at the Warwick Hotel where we were able to use the ballroom for Chelsea’s dad’s first look at her and a few portraits. We photographed Noe and the groomsmen at the University Club using the library. The ceremony was set up inside the college room in front of the fireplace and the club turned the room around very quickly so that the reception could take place in the same huge wood paneled room. The club is just down the street from the state capital building so at sunset we made sure to get a few good shots with the pretty gold domed building in the backdrop before heading back inside to dance the night away. It was truly a lovely wedding with friends and family traveling from afar to celebrate. One of the highlights was when Chelsea decided to read her vows to Noe both in Spanish and English to include Noe’s side of the family. They also incorporated the 13 coins ceremony into their wedding which I don’t get to see too often. The groom passes coins presented to him by his godmother to give to his bride as a show of his willingness to take care of her. I think that you can tell from their photos that they are head over heels for each other and will be taking care of each other for a long time:)

My favorite:)
