I had so much fun photographing this family up Squaw Pass road in Evergreen, Colorado last week. We went to a location full of beautiful Aspen trees and the shades of blue that the family wore looked perfect with the mountain backdrop there. We played some games and had a lot of fun together while creating these portraits. All of the cousins were running around together and laughing and playing in between photos. I have to say, I really love that getting together for a session not only makes great photos together but provides some good quality time together as a family. My favorite part was when the older siblings were posing together they suddenly started cracking up because their dad was attempting to get a smile out of them by mooning them. Whatever works to get that natural smile, dad! I’ll take it! Here are just a handful of some of my favorites.
