April and Iman held a gorgeous wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at Denver Botanic Gardens in early July. They opted to use the Water Garden Gazebo surrounded by the Monet Pool which is full of beautiful lily pads and other aquatic plant life. Lots of family traveled into Denver to help them celebrate their new marriage. I loved the big smile on April’s face throughout the evening. She and Iman look like they have so much fun together. They were very laid back and light-hearted, even when they forgot to light their unity candle they just laughed it off and lit it out of order which made everyone laugh of course. After a couple toasts we headed off to create some nice family photos. When we finished those we walked around for a short while creating some portraits of the two of them alone. I loved that we were able to use the Japanese garden and Iman did a perfect dip with April by a nice bridge. We finished up at the gorgeous long colorful garden-lined sidewalk toward the front entrance before they left for their steak dinner. It was a truly lovely wedding!
