Everyone knows that one of the best views of Denver with the city skyline and the mountains stacked up behind it can be found at City Park. And while you can get that gorgeous view for free from the grassy area west of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, it’s even better from their wedding ceremony deck overlooking City Park. Named “The Anschutz Family Sky Terrace,” it’s an open air space which is great for ceremonies and I think would also be great for a cocktail hour space and perhaps even dinner and dancing on nice days. The museum can host both intimate weddings and also very large weddings (there is room for up to 4,000 guests if you wanted!) There are numerous neat photo opportunities throughout the building with their gem collection, the dioramas and even the dinosaur bone area. Their pricing is actually fairly reasonable for a place as unique as this is too. Plus, I love the idea that your wedding costs would directly be supporting a scientific and cultural facility. Go science!
