elcome to the journal for April O’Hare Photography! Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. At the bottom of the page I’ve highlighted some of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past. Grab a drink and have fun going down the photo rabbit hole!

High School Senior Photos Late August in Evergreen

Rainy Senior Photos on Squaw Pass Road in Evergreen

I’ve photographed John’s family a couple of times now and I was so surprised to hear that he’s already a senior this year. The years just fly by so fast and the kids I photographed seem to stick in my memory at whatever age they were when I last photographed them. John is so grown up now and I’m excited for him to enjoy his senior year of high school. He and his family met me up in Evergreen last week at the pretty mountain meadow on Squaw Pass Road. The weather has been a little iffy this past month with me attempting to play meterologist with varying degrees of success. After taking a look at the radar, I for sure thought we would get a bit of rain at the beginning of the session and then it would clear out after that. But I was very wrong this time. We only got to photograph for about 40 minutes or so before the sky just got super dark. Eventually the rain came and it was so dark and wet we just couldn’t continue. Luckily before the weather took a turn for the worse, we were able to get some great photos of John. Below are some of my favorites!

If you need your own senior photography session done, please take a look at the SENIORS page of my website and email me. I would love to see if I can fit you into the schedule before your yearbook photo is due!
