The Agape Outpost Chapel is a gorgeous little chapel tucked away next to the Blue River right off of highway 9 as you make your way from Frisco into Breckenridge, Colorado. This is a lovely little church, perfect for those who want to get married in the mountains but also want to host a Christian service at a house of worship. When you wed at the Agape Outpost, you are required to complete the pre-marital counseling if you opt to use one of the staff at this Breckenridge church. You’ll meet with your mentor or pastor 1-2 times prior to your wedding to go over your Prepare inventory as well as get to know you as a couple.
The Agape Outpost Chapel is flexible with options for hosting a wedding ceremony either indoors in the cozy log cabin style chapel or outside next to the river during summer and fall when the weather is nicer.
You can opt to get married outdoors during the warmer weather months on their simple little brown deck located directly next to the river. If you go with an outdoor wedding at Agape Outpost, your guests will be seated on concrete risers built right next to the wood deck so all of your guests will easily be able to see you get married. There is room on these risers to fit folding chairs to make it more comfortable, but I could also see it being great for adding floor cushions if you wanted to try something a little more bohemian for your wedding ceremony. After your ceremony, there are also some nice wooded areas that would look nice in your wedding pictures. Plus, the rushing Blue River makes for a pretty backdrop for some of your photos together as a newly married couple. I can also advise on some other nearby picturesque locations we can use for your wedding portraits.
The inside of the Agape Outpost Chapel is pretty large and has a nice, rustic log cabin feel that goes perfectly with being located near Breckenridge. It has log wood beams running across the vaulted ceiling and large antler chandeliers hanging overhead. There is a lot of light illuminating the altar area where you’ll be standing for your ceremony which looks nice and dramatic for your photos making the rest of the space go darker. There is also a pretty modern stained glass window at the rear of the chapel that looks like a warm sunbeam.
The Agape Outpost Chapel wedding cost is quite affordable for this part of Colorado at $900. Your $900 wedding price will cover 1 hour of rehearsal coverage and 4 hours of wedding time on the day of your wedding. You’ll have access to dressing rooms and help with using the sound system. The fee also covers the cleaning costs for the chapel. If you plan to use one of the pastors at the church you’ll also pay $25 for the Prepare inventory and marital preparations.
