The American Mother’s Chapel at Rock Ledge Ranch is my favorite indoor church elopement setting in all of Colorado Springs. It’s a historic, beautiful tiny white chapel with such a cute and quaint look to it. It’s perfect for those who would like to get married in a house of worship but who also want to take advantage of Colorado’s beautiful outdoor scenery. It’s located on the Rock Ledge Ranch property which is adjacent to Garden of the Gods, one of Colorado’s prettiest scenic outdoor areas in the entire state. It’s an incredibly small chapel though, so this Colorado Springs wedding venue is best for elopements or micro-weddings without a lot of guests.
The American Mother’s Chapel can seat up to 12 guests and has a total capacity of 15 people. It’s located near the intersection of North 31st Street and Chambers Way which is where the city expects you and your guests to park and walk to the chapel from. There are no restrooms available at the chapel, but it does have heating and air conditioning and power outlets. Because it is located in a natural area, parking right next to the chapel is not allowed nor is throwing of confetti or birdseed of any kind. You may also not do live animal releases like birds/butterflies etc. or have any open flames or fire at this location. The reservation hours are between 11 am and 7 pm and it costs $200 per day to rent the American Mother’s Chapel. The American Mother’s Chapel prices and rules are outlined on their Pavilion and Chapel Rental Agreement.
