Assumption of the Theotokos is one of Denver’s most beautiful churches. It’s a Greek Orthodox Cathedral located in Glendale, CO at the intersection of Leetsdale and Alameda Avenue. It is instantly recognizable with it’s gold dome. The interior of this beautiful Greek Orthodox Church in Denver is stunning with intricate paintings of Christian iconography covering the entire dome. Attending a wedding here is truly special. They do not have much information about weddings held at Assumption of the Theotokos so you’ll need to get in touch with them directly to find out about becoming a part of their parish. They also have a large reception hall with a stage available to rent for wedding receptions next door to the dome cathedral.
