Bonez Mexican restaurant in Crested Butte is an incredibly unique wedding reception space found on Elk Avenue, the main street in this beautiful ski town in the heart of Colorado. Their decor is heavily influenced by the art of Jose Posada, known for his intricate skeletal drawings as well as colorful Mexican folk art. I find their colorfully lit bar and the gorgeous hanging bottle chandelier both provide a beautiful backdrop for a mountain wedding reception in Crested Butte. The decor at this restaurant is a perfect blend of trendy but casual enough for guests to enjoy any party hosted there.
Bonez Crested Butte conveniently provides information for a full restaurant buyout for events held at their restaurant right on their website so be sure to check it out. They can provide catering for parties for 14-400 people and the restaurant itself can seat 150 people. If you are opting for a buffet style dinner, they can seat 130 people to leave room for the buffet table. Bonez Tequila Bar & Grill is one of the larger Crested Butte Event Spaces. A full buyout of the restaurant is generally booked with a 4 hour window for a wedding reception and is generally held from 6-10 pm. However, for those who want to book their party for later in the evening, they do have some late night options for those who want to extend their party from 10-midnight.
As with many Colorado mountain wedding venues, the wedding season corresponds with summer and the winter ski season. So if you are a couple looking to save a little money, check into hosting your wedding reception during spring or summer and you may save yourself a little money. If that’s not possible, Bonez also offers discounts for those who host their wedding reception from Sunday-Thursday instead of a Friday or Saturday night.
