Boulder Dushanbe Tea House Weddings

The Dushanbe Tea House in Boulder is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in all of Colorado.  This stunning example of central Asian architecture is one of Boulder's most prized places and often tops the list of what to see and do when visiting Boulder.  It was gifted to the city of Boulder by the mayor of its sister city, Dushanbe Tajikistan after he visited in 1987.  The Boulder Dushanbe Tea House was crafted by more than 40 different artisans throughout Tajikistan and their website has a really great write up of all of the different traditional skills that have been passed down for over 2,000 years in that region.  It's definitely worth a read if you have the time.   

 

While both the exterior and interior of the Boulder Dushanbe Tea House will take your breath away with all of it's colorful paintings and hand carved paneling and pillars, the cherry on top is that their outdoor gardens are incredible too!  They have over 45 different varieties of roses and paired with the gorgeous art on the walls of the tea house it makes for some ridiculously pretty wedding photos!
