I have a weakness for rustic weddings and if they are held at a barn I’m even more in love. The Heritage Cabin at Catamount Ranch provides the perfect backdrop for a rustic style wedding. It is one of the most gorgeous locations in Colorado that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. In addition to the private lake, the area is surrounded by hundreds of acres of aspens and pine trees of the Routt National Forest. The cabin (the only original homestead left in the Catamount Ranch community) is the perfect place for the bridal prep and the old barn provides a lovely backdrop for a wedding ceremony.  
 
The Heritage Cabin is not the only wedding venue option at Catamount Ranch. They also offer a more traditional golf clubhouse which overlooks the 9th hole. You can still enjoy an outdoor wedding and get married next to the water with this option.
