I LOVE the Curtis Hotel. It’s so weird (in a good way!) and playful and this Denver hotel wedding venue is the opposite of stuffy while still feeling quite modern and luxurious. The vibe is totally quirky kitsch and if you’re hoping to plan a wedding where the emphasis is on fun and letting the good times roll, I think the Curtis Hotel just may be the place for you. 

Unfortunately, the Curtis Hotel doesn’t keep their wedding prices online so you’ll have to contact them directly to discuss what to expect for your budget when hosting your wedding there. 

I love that The Curtis Hotel encourages bachelor parties and bachelorette celebrations. My husband actually celebrated his bachelor party at the Curtis Hotel with a wild poker night with his best friends and family and from what I hear it was a pretty awesome time. They rented a meeting room type of space but I love that they also have a couple of themed suites with living rooms separate from the bedroom that would also make a great little party zone. Conveniently, friends can book their own rooms to stumble off to their own bed once they’ve had enough of the festivities.

The Curtis Hotel has gone all out with the interior design of their rooms. As mentioned above, they have two suites. One called the KISS suite and one Rolling Stones suite too to get you in the spirit of a good party. If those aren’t quite your taste, they also have a bunch of other “Hyper Themed” rooms you can choose from. They have the following fun themes: Disco, Barbie, Lucy & Desi, Video Games, Knock Knock (just go to their site to read up on what the heck that is! I actually really like that one because my favorite color is green), Star Trek, Champions Lounge, Chick Flick, Ghostbusters, Talk Show, and Talladega Nights. And, their regular rooms don’t disappoint with their mid-mod retro flair. I particularly love their little snack menu that you can order up to your room for late noshing or for a little something to tide you over before you head out for dinner and a night on the town.

The spaces that you can rent out for your wedding celebration at the Curtis Hotel are absolutely phenomenal. I am in love with their outdoor terrace space where you can host an outdoor wedding in the heart of the bustling downtown Denver city center. Below is a brief overview of what they have available.

The Four Square Ballroom is the largest ballroom you can rent for your wedding at the Curtis Hotel. It has 4,200 square feet and is a great indoor/outdoor space to rent when you combine it with the Four Square Terrace which has an extra 2,000 square feet of space with views looking out over Denver. I particularly love the gigantic modern stone fireplace which provides your guests a place to stay warm and take a breather from the dance floor. This is one of the largest spaces you’ll find to host an outdoor wedding ceremony in the heart of Downtown Denver. The Four Square Terrace can host up to 200 guests and the Four Square Ballroom has space for 260 when seated in rounds.

For a slightly smaller wedding you could consider choosing the Marco Polo Ballroom and the Marco Polo Patio at the Curtis Hotel. It’s only a tiny bit smaller than the Four Square option at 4,136 square feet and can fit up to 250 guests when seated banquet style. The Marco Polo patio has 798 square feet so not quite as much space, but still plenty of room to step outside for a cool down during the reception.

One more ballroom option at the Curtis Hotel is their Peek-a-Boo Ballroom which has 3,120 square feet and can host 180 wedding guests in a banquet style set up. Like all of the ballrooms at the Curtis this one has a nice tall ceiling too making it feel even larger than it already is.
