The McCreery House is a beautiful old Victorian bed & breakfast mansion located in the heart of Loveland, Colorado. The home was built in 1892 and is listed in the national registry of historic places. It's red painted brick walls provide a beautiful pop of color and the spacious backyard and gardens is the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony. I am obsessed with the McCreery House’s mansard style roof which is really rare here in Colorado. It makes this historic home even more special and pretty in my opinion. The outdoor area can hold up to 130 guests comfortably and for more intimate weddings, the inside of the house can hold up to 50. I love that this quaint old home wedding venue allows you and your guests to explore the grounds and home freely on your wedding day. There are 3 rooms in the main house and 1 room in the carriage house that are available for overnight accommodations. The decor is a mix of antique furniture and feminine classic styled pieces accentuate each room. It's the perfect place for any wedding incorporating vintage flair.

One of my favorite things about the venue is the back patio with cafe lights strung across it which would be perfect for the dance floor. Another highlight is the gorgeous wraparound porch providing some nice shade during your cocktail hour. I love that this is a family owned and operated wedding venue too!

McCreery House can host everything from small elopements with just the couple as well as larger weddings of up to 130 guests at this beautiful and historic home in Loveland. They only host weddings during the warmer months from May-October which is perfect because that’s when their gardens should be in bloom. This vintage home in the heart of Loveland has come up with a few different packages to address each couple’s needs which I’ve outlined below. I highly recommend checking with McCreery House directly to ask for the up to date prices and see what they can do for you!

McCreery House Ceremony and Reception Package
The McCreery House offers package based on the day of the week you would like to book. Weekend weddings and holiday weddings are the most expensive at $6,950 and if you can book a weekday your cost will go down to $6,450. This price covers up to 8 hours of wedding day rental time and up to 100 guests. Each additional guest over 100 is $20 each with a maximum of 130 guests. You may book extra hours for $300 each and extra prep hours are $150 each. The McCreery ceremony and reception wedding package includes a wedding planner and the tables and chairs you’ll need as well as the non-alcoholic drinks.

McCreery House Reception Only Package
If you are just looking for a place to host your wedding reception and do not need McCreery House for your wedding ceremony, they have a package that fits your needs. A weekend wedding or holiday wedding will be $6,450 and weekdays are $5,950. Like the package above, this also includes a planner, tables and chairs, and the non-alcoholic drinks. The reception only packages include 7 hours of time and also cover up to 100 guests with additional guests costing $20 each.
McCreery House Ceremony Only Package
With the ceremony only wedding package at McCreery House, you’ll get up to 4 hours of time on your wedding day to host your ceremony. If you host your ceremony on the weekend or a holiday it will cost 4,000 and weekdays are $3,500. Because they need to leave their calendar available for those booking both their ceremony and their reception package, the ceremony only package is only available to book 6 weeks prior to the wedding day. The ceremony only package covers up to 130 guests.

McCreery House Micro Wedding Package
For those who would like an all inclusive package for hosting less than 30 people total, McCreery House has come up with an all inclusive package price of $8,450. This micro wedding package is only available on weekdays unless you book it less than 6 weeks from your wedding date. McCreery House also offers this smaller micro wedding package to couples looking to book outside of the regular wedding season so could be perfect for those looking for a quaint place to host a wedding during the colder winter months! The Micro wedding package at McCreery House includes 7 hours and you’ll also get a wedding planner, tables & chairs, and non-alcoholic drinks with the package. They also offer all of the vendors with this package as well including the catering, bartending service, photography, DJ, and florals. This could be a great one stop shop for booking a simple small wedding with just your closest friends and family. As a photographer though, I can’t help but warn you to be careful about looking through the photographer’s work to make sure you will be happy with it. Be sure to ask about hiring your own photographer if the photographer they offer is not what you are looking for.

McCreery House Elopement Wedding Package
McCreery House also offers a package very similar to the one above, but the Elopement wedding package is meant for only 10 people or less. It’s $3,950 and includes 3 hours of venue rental, cake & champagne, DJ, bridal bouquet, and photographer. Again, just be sure to check the portfolio of the included vendors (particularly the photography since it’s the only thing you’ll be left with after your wedding day is over). This package is only booked Monday-Thursday during peak season and weekends can only be booked if you are 6 weeks from your wedding date or less.
