Meadow Creek Lodge & Event Center is such a unique place to host a small to medium sized wedding in a convenient mountain location not too far from the Denver metro area. It’s about a 45 min drive to get to this beautiful and spacious mountain property from downtown Denver. It’s located along the highway 285 corridor in Pine, just a little west of Conifer, Colorado. This Colorado mountain wedding venue is extremely spacious with 34 acres of wooded land as well as a large open meadow with aspen trees off in the distance. I also love all of the log cabin rustic style buildings which make for some pretty cute wedding photos. This lovely mountain wedding venue is beautiful year round, but because of its many aspen trees, my favorite time of year for a wedding here is mid to late September or early October during the fall color season when the aspen trees are bright and golden in color.
What I love the most about this beautiful wedding venue is that it’s perfect for those who want to host their wedding and have a small group of their family or best friends stay right there at the venue with them. It’s perfect for a small destination style wedding here in Colorado. They have a large historic stone lodge with 7 rooms, all with their own bathrooms. And they also have a cute honeymoon cabin that’s separate from the large main lodge if you and your partner want a private little retreat all to yourselves. I love that the Honeymoon Cabin has its own large deck and huge windows. There is a ton of great outdoor space that you can enjoy like a nice large wood deck, picnic tables, relaxing bench swings under shady trees, and a hot tub too. It’s all tailor made for a relaxing weekend out in nature. The cherry on top of this fantastic wedding venue is that they serve a full country breakfast every morning at the Meadow Creek Lodge!
There are lots of different locations that you can use to host your ceremony and reception at the Meadow Creek Lodge & Event Center. For your ceremony, you can opt to use the gazebo tucked into a private grassy wooded location, the large open meadow with a wood arch and aspen trees for your backdrop, or host it indoors for a cold weather or winter wedding inside the reception pavilion using the stone fireplace as your ceremony backdrop. This reception pavilion makes for a great reception space to host your dinner indoors and can hold up to 50 people inside. I love that it has a ton of windows and nice tall ceilings with a pretty light colored wood and plenty of skylights too. It’s a nice mix of modern with rustic touches like large wood beams running across the ceiling mixed with a modern polished concrete floor and plenty of large chandeliers too. And of course, right outside the doors of this pavilion are plenty of nature views and fresh crisp mountain air.
Unfortunately, Meadow Creek does not have prices listed on their site but they are a pretty affordable, all-inclusive option for those planning a wedding on a budget. Be sure to get a custom quote for your wedding directly by reaching out to them on the link at the top of this page!
I’d love to be your Meadow Creek Lodge wedding photographer. I have experience photographing at this pretty venue and have been a Colorado wedding photographer since 2006. Be sure to check out the WEDDINGS page of my site and get in touch to tell me more about you and your wedding plans!
