Rancho Manzana is a unique and cozy bed & breakfast in the historic and rural community of Chimayo, new Mexico about a 40 minute drive north from Santa Fe. I was lucky enough to get to attend a wedding here and photographed some wedding pictures for them on their beautiful wedding day in the apple orchard at Rancho Manzana. Afterward, we ate and danced in a small white tent set up next to the lovely grape arbor patio area. Ever since attending this wedding in New Mexico, I’ve been dying to get back there and stay at Rancho Manzana ourselves!

The Rancho Manzana B&B is an eco-friendly establishment featuring a large apple orchard with plenty of gorgeous trees where the majority of wedding ceremonies at Rancho Manzana take place. The entire property feels like a peaceful retreat with beautiful fields and pretty gardens to take a stroll through. And the southwestern style decor sprinkled throughout the property creates a lovely backdrop for your wedding pictures. The outdoor setting is magnificent, especially during the summer and fall. Guests are always enchanted by the surroundings. Rancho Manzana is the perfect venue for a garden wedding or other special event. The venue also functions as a full-service special occasion reception facility. They can accommodate groups as large as 75 people or they can design an intimate dinner for a small party. A summer meal served outdoors under the ramada is a truly magical experience. They also have an indoor dining room with room for up to 20 people for an intimate seated dinner inside their 300 year old adobe building.

Rancho Manzana does require a professional wedding coordinator to be hired for wedding celebrations with more than 25 people at their bed & breakfast. They have access to a number of professional caterers and can assist you in planning all your special occasions - large or small. They are also available to help with the coordination of floral arrangements, babysitting, transportation services, and more. This is truly a one stop wedding venue where the bride and groom and up to 10 guests over the age of 12 can stay the night of their wedding. Piping hot breakfasts are served in the morning under the grape arbor with much of the organic produce coming directly from their farms.

When you book your wedding with Rancho Manzana, you’ll get up to 10 hours for your wedding rental period with music over by 10 pm. The base price for a wedding at Rancho Manzana is $2,000 and if you call them directly they can help come up with a custom rate specialized for your specific wedding plans.
