The Silverthorne Pavilion is a fairly new building (built in 2001) built with the intent to be an affordable venue option for weddings and events in the Summit County area. The Silverthorne Pavilion is probably one of the best lower cost options for hosting a larger event in the mountains of Colorado since it is owned and operated by the city. It is a large venue with over 12,000 square feet of space and a lovely open floor plan with two levels and a stage. It is located right in the heart of Silverthorne and literally just minutes from the major ski resorts in the area. The indoor space is perfect for a mountain wedding with its pretty light wood, custom mountain themed chandeliers, and skylights that let in a ton of natural light. I really love that it’s right on the Blue River which makes a beautiful place for photos. Buffalo Mountain is also right there for a nice backdrop although in recent years new buildings have been built and the view of the mountain is no longer unobstructed. I’m happy to help come up with some other location ideas we might use for photos on your wedding day if you want to find a spot with better mountain views than what you can find right there at Silverthorne Pavilion. But, if you want to keep everything right there I really love using the bridge for wedding pictures. You can also hold your ceremony there either by the river which has space for up to 125 guests or on the north lawn which can hold much larger parties if needed. I have also photographed indoor weddings there when it was just too cold to hold the wedding ceremony outside.
You’ll be able to host up to 280 guests if you use both levels of the Silverthorne Pavilion. When you rent the Silverthorne Pavilion for your wedding you will get use of the building and the grounds, set up of indoor tables and chairs, access to the centerpiece materials closet, indoor sound system, getting ready suites, and a day of wedding attendant. Use of the kitchen, fireplace, A/V Equipment, and Tech Support are all available for an additional fee.
Silverthorne Pavilion wedding prices are based on the time of year and day of the week that you plan to get married. They also offer discounts for residents who live in Silverthorne as well as Summit County residents so be sure to mention that you live there if you do!
January through March and November: Monday through Thursday rates are $1,000, Fridays and Sundays are $1,400, and Saturdays are $1,800
April: Monday through Thursday rates are $1,000, Fridays and Sundays are $1,600, and Saturdays are $2,000
May & October: Monday through Thursday rates are $1,800, Fridays and Sundays are $2,600, and Saturdays are $3,000
June-September: Monday through Thursday rates are $2,400, Fridays and Sundays are $3,600, and Saturdays are $4,600
December: Monday through Thursday rates are $1,800, Fridays and Sundays are $1,600, and Saturdays are $2,000
