St. Mary’s in Breckenridge is a pretty, historic church located in the heart of this destination ski town in Colorado.. The church actually has two different buildings with a small white historic Victorian style chapel and then a more modern and larger sanctuary right next door. The little white church may not be able to fit a large wedding, but it is the picture perfect mountain church for those who are looking for that classic little chapel style building popularized in the movies. And if it turns out to be too small for the wedding you want, you can always get married in the larger building next door (which features gorgeous modern Picasso style stained glass) and take photos in front of the smaller and more picturesque church. I love that after your wedding ceremony, you can head over to the 2nd level of the little white chapel and ring the historic bells in celebration of your nuptials! When getting married in a Catholic church there are pre-marriage preparations required as part of the process for this sacrament which can take up to 9 months to complete.
