West Mount Falcon Fall Color Family Photos with a New Puppy

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this adorable family for quite a few years now (we started before their youngest was even born!) and I’m excited for them that this year they brought on a new family member with their adorable puppy, Wally. Wally came with them for his first photoshoot as part of the family. Originally we were planning to check out Roxborough, but since they don’t allow dogs, we had to pivot to a new location so we decided to meet up at the West Mount Falcon trailhead in Indian Hills, not too far from Evergreen. This location is stunning, but in recent years, it’s become a bit over loved by photographers so I don’t always suggest it anymore because of that. But, I was pleasantly surprised that it was nice and quiet when we arrived and we basically had the place to ourselves! We definitely spent a good amount of time trying to wrangle Wally and got some cute photos with him. And we also got lucky with a big beautiful, full harvest moon that we were able to get a couple photos with too. Below are some of my favorites from the session.
