Backyard Family Portraits at Home in Denver

Family Photos During Fall in the Backyard in Denver

Five years ago I met this family when they had one young son. We photographed them at South Valley Park and got some incredibly cute photos of grandma and grandpa with him too. Fast forward to 2021 and now this young fella has a little sister who has joined the family. We kept it simple and opted to use grandma and grandpa’s lovely garden backyard area full of pretty fall color for their family photos this time around. It’s been such a beautiful fall this year with the color hanging on so nicely. It really made for a stunning backdrop for their family portraits. When I first arrived at their home, their son wasn’t quite warmed up to the idea of having to get his photo taken, but luckily for us, after spending some time playing some games he got into it and decided getting his photo taken wasn’t too bad afterall. Below are some of my favorites I caught for them that evening right before the rainstorm.
