Rainy Engagement Session on a Misty Summer Evening at Sapphire Point
I am so excited to get to share these photos on the journal today. I haven’t photographed an engagement session in quite awhile actually and I really love to photograph these kinds of sessions because you get so much more time to create stunning portraits than you typically get on a wedding day. I am lucky enough to get to photograph Alyssa & Bryce’s wedding next summer in Breckenridge. They came out in August to get some of their wedding plans figured out and while they were here we decided to schedule their engagement photos. I was going to say unfortunately it was a rainy evening when we met, but I actually didn’t find it to be that unfortunate at all because the rain was pretty light and it helped create some misty mountain backdrops that I found really beautiful and so different from what they usually look like. It also meant that Sapphire Point was a little more quiet and deserted than it normally is so I got to get some angles that help make the mountains look particularly big that I don’t always get to do when there are bunch of cars in the parking lot there. Below are just a small handful of some of my favorites that we were able to create together that evening.
