Summer Family Photos at Berthoud Pass in Colorado

I cannot wait to share this adorable family’s cute photos that we created together the other evening up on Berthoud Pass near Winter Park, Colorado. It was blazing hot down in Denver so it was a bit of a shock to step out of the car to such a chilly evening up there. I’ve lived here my whole life so I don’t know why this should still be such a surprise for me, but I just always forget how much colder it’ll be when you’re hanging out at over 11,000 ft of elevation while Denver is famously a mile high. I am just glad that I remembered I should always bring a jacket when going to the mountains. Their little guy is still so young that we were a bit worried he might not enjoy the session too much but I was loving how easily he smiled for me! Below are just a small portion of some of the ones I really loved from that evening.
