Professional Business Headshots in Boulder Colorado
As a Boulder headshot photographer, it’s been rough not getting the chance to be out photographing in the community. As we all know, Covid-19 has completely upended a lot of our lives and changed the way that we live and work. We’ve recently moved into a safer at home strategy which means I’m now allowed to photograph business portraits and professional headshots again. Kristelia was my first client I’ve had the chance to photograph in about 3 months and I have to say, I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with after this hiatus. She’s a professor of law and she’s been working on a new professional business website for herself and needed to get some updated headshots created for it here in the Boulder area. She was such a natural in front of the camera and I feel like we got a lot of nice variety in her business portraits.
CU Boulder Headshot Portraits
Some of my go to Boulder locations have been a little slow to reopen so instead of waiting even longer to photograph her Boulder headshots we decided to go ahead and just do them right there on the University of Colorado Boulder campus where she teaches. I absolutely LOVE photographing at CU Boulder’s campus. There are a ton of historic buildings and lovely gardens that make incredibly beautiful backdrops for headshots. The campus is instantly recognizable with its beautifully textured red sandstone used both in the buildings and the hardscaping. We started off near Varsity Lake with its quaint stone bridge and surrounding gardens and made sure to get some with the Wolf Law building on the south side of campus before finishing with a view of the iconic Flatirons mountains in the backdrop. I had a hard time narrowing down which ones to share because I loved so many of these, but I managed to pick out some to share below.
