I love to photograph weddings at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art because there are so many great perks at this historic Boulder wedding venue that has both a modern, industrial chic vibe mixed with tons of historical charm. It’s located just a few blocks away from the Pearl Street Mall in a bustling area of Boulder. It’s right next door to the gorgeous Boulder Dushanbe Tea House and across the street there is a beautiful green park called City Park with Boulder Creek flowing past.
The BMOCA museum is housed inside a classic two story red brick building which are dotted throughout the entire front range. This particular historic red brick building has been renovated but kept it’s cute charm like exposed red brick walls and tons of old windows letting in natural light into the 2nd floor space. The first floor of the museum is covered in an ever changing display of interesting art which is a fun way to keep your wedding guests occupied during cocktail hour. There is room to host a dinner in the upstairs space which has pretty string lights hanging overhead. I believe they can seat up to 150 wedding guests in this space, but be sure to get in touch with them to find out for sure. They’ll also be able to give you wedding pricing for weddings at BMOCA and their availability too.
I would love to be your BMOCA Wedding photographer. You’ll find a ton of information and more photos on the WEDDINGS page of my site. Check it out and get in touch to tell me about your wedding!
