Bright Yellow Autumn Leaves for Family Photos on Squaw Pass Road

Evergreen Autumn Family Portraits in Colorado

A little while back I photographed Alyssa and Trace’s wedding in Boulder Colorado and they spent some time enjoying their lives together before deciding to expand their family with a brand new adorable baby boy named Maverick. I was so honored that I got to meet this precious lil guy when we met up for their family photos at the always gorgeous mountain meadow on Squaw Pass Road. I actually photographed Alyssa’s headshots there during summer so it was fun to revisit this spot with all of them together during another beautiful time of year for the meadow. I truly can’t decide which is prettiest, the summer wildflowers and all of the greenery or when the aspens turn gold during fall. I love that now Alyssa has photos from the meadow from both seasons. Below are just a small sample of some of my favorites.
