Senior Photos at Cheesman Park and South Broadway in Denver Colorado
I am excited to get to share this young man’s senior portraits that we did the other evening in two of my favorite Denver spots. They are quite different from each other but both are places that I’ve spent a lot of time at and really love. We started off at Cheesman Park because I thought it might be nice to get a few classic senior portraits with a bit of simple greenery for the backdrop. Usually Cheesman is poppin’ with a ton of activity making it a bit tricky to use it for photoshoots, but we met up on a Monday night and it was actually pretty quiet that evening. The gardens were still going strong and the white pavilion looked gorgeous as always. If you can’t tell from his Georges Méliès tshirt, this senior likes movies so I suggested that we could do a couple of his photos in front of the Mayan Theater on South Broadway too. Unfortunately, we got unlucky that evening because I had envisioned their historic sign all lit up in the backdrop but it ended up being one of the few evenings where they weren’t open. I still think it was a fun location for his photos because I am quite fond of this part of Denver and it’s a little more unique of a photo location and not as used for sessions as other neighborhoods are. I’ve actually never photographed a session over here before but really liked what we were able to get. Below are some of my favorites from his session.
If you’re thinking about getting your own senior photos created, be sure to reach out to me from the SENIORS page of my site. I know yearbook deadlines are coming up quickly so let’s chat and see if I can squeeze you in!
