elcome to the journal for April O’Hare Photography! Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. At the bottom of the page I’ve highlighted some of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past. Grab a drink and have fun going down the photo rabbit hole!

City Park and Downtown Denver Engagement Photography

March 26, 2010

Jess called me last summer and booked me over the phone since she lives out in Seattle & I finally got to meet her and her fiance Stefan yesterday.  They brought along Jess’s mom, Janet & it was great to meet her as well:)  She was so sweet and helped me roll my camera bag all around Denver.  I felt a little bad for Stefan because he had been up since the wee hours of the morning in order to fly out to Denver but he was a great sport and I would have never been able to tell he was tired if they hadn’t told me.  They are such a cute couple and I got so many great shots I don’t know how I’m going to be able to narrow them down!  Here are just a few from the session for now…

Thanks so much for meeting with me and being such great sports about walking around the neighborhood to find some good backgrounds for your photographs!  I hope you guys had a safe drive home to Steamboat and I’ll be in contact soon with the rest of your pictures!
