elcome to the journal for April O’Hare Photography! Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. At the bottom of the page I’ve highlighted some of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past. Grab a drink and have fun going down the photo rabbit hole!

City Park Denver CO Family Photography

May 1, 2011

I met Tracey through the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls.  She’s been skating with us for a little while now and mentioned that she wanted to get some photos of her family taken.  Even though we have a “kids corner” at our warehouse I hadn’t had the chance to meet her family yet.  Oh em gee, her kiddos are super cute.  She & her hubby have their hands full with three young boys, but I can tell they have a ton of fun with them.  Their littlest guy wasn’t happy when they arrived.  In fact, he cracked me up by walking over to where I was sitting and proceeding to lie down right next to me on his back with hands over his eyes and had a full on melt down.  I’m sure he was looking for a completely different reaction, but I couldn’t help but giggle at his dramatic antics.  Luckily, after he had a little time to himself he cheered up a bit and we were able to get some great shots of their family.

Slapdragon, hope you like what we got!  I’ll let you know when the rest are ready to see:)

xoxo
