I have the cutest City Park maternity photography session to share on the journal today.  I love to photograph maternity sessions for mama’s to be.  Their round bellies are so cute and it’s cool to see how much our bodies can change to accommodate motherhood! It’s been a fun past week in photography-land for me because I keep getting to photograph all of my friends in roller derby.  For this City Park maternity session we chose that area of Denver because it’s right in the neighborhood of where Tia lives making it not only a pretty location but convenient for her too.  It really seems like just yesterday Tia confided in me that she was going to be taking a little leave of absence from skating because she’s pregnant.  But here we are just a few months later and she & her husband, Ken, are getting ready for the big arrival in November.  I am so excited and can’t wait to meet her:)  In the meantime, it was so nice to see Tia since I haven’t had the chance to see her around the warehouse these days.  Plus we got lucky with gorgeous weather and perfect light for our City Park maternity photography session.  The gardens at City Park were looking incredible this summer too!  It ended up being the perfect summer afternoon to hang out and create some pretty pregnancy portraits here in Denver.  I’ve picked out a small handful of my favorites from Tia’s maternity session below.  Take a look!
