Civic Center Park Senior Photos

I have the cutest Civic Center Park senior photos to share on the journal today. I actually meant to post this gorgeous high school senior gal awhile ago but due to autumn being an incredibly busy time for photographers, I ended up saving it to share with the world today. This very photogenic young lady is the daughter of one of my old derby friends. We decided to meet up in the Golden Triangle area of Denver and used the cool and interesting spaces around the Denver Art Museum and Civic Center Park for her pictures. One of my favorite spots is the cute red British phone booth outside of Pints Pub on 13th Avenue just down the street from the Denver Art Museum.

As we creep closer to the time of year when seniors all over Colorado are finishing up their final year of high school I thought it would be fun to share these images. I love the way senior portraits celebrate a turning point in life. They offer a glimpse of a young person as they embark on the journey of adulthood and go out to make their mark on the world. I love that at her senior session we were able to use the beautiful gardens in the center of Civic Center Park which were so full and pretty in late fall. I also think the Colorado State Capitol building makes a really nice photo backdrop too!
