elcome to the journal for April O’Hare Photography! Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. At the bottom of the page I’ve highlighted some of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past. Grab a drink and have fun going down the photo rabbit hole!

Colorado Senior Photographer | Senior Photos at Rino Arts District in Denver

June 30, 2017

I am so pleased to share this seriously awesome young lady on the blog today. Mary is the daughter of one of my good friends and is super sweet. It can be so uncomfortable being in front of the camera but she was game to try all of my silly prompts; “Yes, do a dance right here on the sidewalk in front of everyone!” Haha, I promise it wasn’t as painful as I make it sound. We had fun wandering around the Rino Art District in North Denver taking advantage of all of the awesome street art. We’re all Stranger Things fans so we had to get a photo with the awesome mural created by the Arty Deeds crew. And of course, I always want to stop by Gemma Danielle’s gorgeous geometric mural at Crema Coffee at Mary’s senior photo session was no exception. I was having so much fun with my buddy and her great kiddo that I could have kept photographing but as with all sessions, the sun was setting and it was time to call it a night. Check out some of my favorites below!

My favorite!

Be sure to check out the SENIORS page of my site for more information about senior photography!
