Just a few days before Christmas Denver was endowed with a healthy dose of the fluffy white stuff. It was just in time for Miles and Bethany’s wedding too. Their ceremony was in the afternoon down at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Mormon Temple in Centennial with the reception held later that evening at the Dicken’s Barn (aka the D-Barn/Lashley Barn) on Main Street in Longmont, Colorado (http://www.dbarn.net/) It may have been cold, but you can’t beat all of that beautiful white snow for a picture perfect winter wedding.
Congratulations to Bethany & Miles and a belated Feliz Navidad to all of the readers out there:)
April
This is what it was looking like when I arrived.
There was even still a bit of color there
Just one more from the snow scenery:)
Waiting for the newlyweds to emerge from the temple
The whole family waits for Bethany & Miles after the ceremony
Miles & Bethany’s families gathered around to congratulate them after their ceremony
Bethany is gorgeous! And a born natural in front of the camera!
Walking in a Winter Wonderland
Last one from the ceremony site
At the D-Barn in Longmont later that evening
It was freezing, but I think it was worth it to get this long exposure shot with Miles & Bethany in it:)
Such a cute rustic place for a wedding:)
The barn has lovely high ceilings
Love all of those lights in the background. They just add to the romance:)
I couldn’t decide which one of these last two were my favorite so I saved them both for last!

What a GORGEOUS couple…my gosh, I love all the snow! And I LOVE the reception venue! You did an amazing job capturing their special day for them!
Simply gorgeous… the snow is just divine in all of these photos. You did such a great job capturing their day – they must be thrilled!!!!
great work!! Love all that snow. Michigan is gettin’ nothing this year, so it’s nice to know someone has it. Beautiful captures, especially of the reception.
You have done a great job with all of these. Love the colors against the snow! I know it’s not easy photographing that much white but you truly photographed it all perfectly!
Simply beautiful! Love all the white, and then the pops of color against it. Great details!
LOVE the pictures! You are amazing! It was a cold, cold day and you’re amazing for sticking out there with us! 🙂 Great pictures, love them all. (Carolyn, sister of the bride :))
How perfect these are! The one where they are walking from the church is just stunning. Like the cover of a magazine. They are all beautiful!
These are the most incredible wedding pictures I have ever seen. Beautiful, beautiful.
Beautiful work (and beautiful bride)! They really were walking in a winter wonderland!
Wow! These are absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much April!
These pictures have captured the wonderful feelings and love this couple shares. Having been there they bring back the emotions I felt out there in the freezing white snow.
These are so gorgeous! All the white reminds me of some sort of winter castle – absolutely beautiful!
