Denver Bar Mitzvah Rehearsal at Temple Emanuel

Temple Emanuel Bar Mitzvah Rehearsal and Party

I’ve been so lucky to get to photograph more and more bar and bat mitzvahs these days and today I get to share the first one I photographed in 2025. We started off the day before to get some family photos and to get some candids of Eli as he did a run through of the service at his rehearsal at Temple Emanuel. The next day, I met him and his family back at Temple Emanuel to capture the fun at his party where they celebrated Eli and his huge accomplishments. They got to spend time having fun playing some games after eating and then the dance floor opened up so they could all boogie down. The highlight of the party was when Eli and his parents performed an entire rap song for everyone. I got to hear him at his rehearsal and he has a wonderful singing voice so the rap performance was really fun. I have a small handful of some of my favorites from both the rehearsal and the party below.
