Tonight’s engagement photo session was so much fun! We met up at Garage Antiques on 8th and Inca which was a great spot to begin exploring the Santa Fe Art District neighborhood. I’m actually kind of suprised that I’ve never done a session near there considering how much I love that neighborhood. I used to live in Baker (4th & Galapago) and I had a blast living there. I hope to move back someday:) I’ve lived in plenty of up and coming gentrified neighborhoods in Denver but Baker is by far the one with the most stories. Ask me about the time this one “pregnant” lady pulled a fast one on my bf and I. Oh wait, Adam Cayton-Holland can explain it to you. Check this out:

Yeah, that EXACT same lady pulled almost the exact same sob story on us! She’s a Baker legend!
Anyway, back to the subject at hand….
Met up with Amy and Jeremy for their engagement pics tonight & I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We wandered around the area for a bit and even took a few shots down by Cherry Creek next to the bike path. Eventually we made our way to Interstate Kitchen & Bar to change outfits. I remembered that they have this awesome seat in an old beat up truck inside the restaurant so we had a beer and took some pictures there before moving on. If you like southern food and whiskey, that is the place for you. Check it out sometime: http://www.interstaterestaurant.com/ We attempted to use the side of this dilapidated liquor store but they wouldn’t let us:( Oh well, just a few blocks away there was a much cooler wall with a blue and white graffiti mural that I liked way better!
Amy & Jeremy,
I had so much fun hanging out with the two of you:) I can’t wait to photograph your wedding this summer. It’s going to be the best! Hope you love your sneak peek. I’ll be in contact soon with the rest of your pictures.
Thanks!
