This cute couple is getting married in just over a week and luckily we were able to fit in their engagement session before the big day. We headed up I-70 to Summit County where Lake Dillon is located to make use of one of the biggest and prettiest lakes in all of Colorado. This time instead of heading directly over to Prospector Campground and then Sapphire Point I wanted to start on the east side of the lake near the docks to get some photos closer to the lake itself. I love the way the lake looked with the mountains framing it and the flowers on that side of the reservoir are nicely grown in. The sky was actually really hazy from the wildflowers out west when we took these photos a few weeks ago so the mountains were way more faint in the backdrop than they normally look but I kind of like the dreamy feel of them. We still made sure to leave time to head over to the other side of the lake for Sapphire Point at sunset and got the gorgeous blue mountains. After looking through Danielle and Jarred’s engagement portraits I’m extra excited to photograph them on their wedding day up at Sunrise Amphitheater in Boulder!
