A super cute little girl named Ocean is featured on the journal today. She’s the daughter of one of my best friends and despite being busy this summer her mama and I managed to barely get her 6 month old baby photos done in time (1 day before turning 7 months to be exact, haha). To keep it easy we decided to photograph these simple portraits right at their home in Denver using a big huge sliding glass door for the window light. Ocean is a very stoic and likes to give us serious expressions but her daddy, Joe, somehow knows how to get the smiles out of her. She is such a little lovebug and I am so happy that I get to see her growing up right before my eyes. I also am such a cat lady and I just had to get a nice portrait of Stella the cat who has been a part of the family for over 10 years. With a new baby at home she’s been starving for a little attention and I was more than happy to oblige!
