elcome to the journal for April O’Hare Photography! Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. At the bottom of the page I’ve highlighted some of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past. Grab a drink and have fun going down the photo rabbit hole!

Downtown Denver and LoHi Engagement Session

May 3, 2013

Sunset silhouette on the Highland Bridge

Outside the old Salvagetti building on Little Raven Street

Joanna & Patrick and I met up in the Lodo area of downtown Denver to get some springtime engagement pictures before their wedding day up in Steamboat Springs this summer. I think this session wins the award for most ground covered during one session because we basically started at Coors Field and made our way over to the Modern Museum of Art and on to Confluence, Riverfront, & Commons parks before ending near Little Man Ice Cream in the LoHi neighborhood. Our feet were sore by the end, but we such a great variety of photos it was worth it:)

Joanna & Patrick,
It was so fun hanging out with the two of you. Hope you love the sneak peek and I’ll be in touch soon with the rest of them!
April

With all of the late snowstorms we’ve been getting not a whole lot is growing or flowering just yet. Still we managed to get some pretty plant life in some of the shots:)

Check out the best engagement photos in this ENGAGEMENT gallery!
