Extended Family Photography Sapphire Point During Winter

Family Photography in the Snow at Sapphire Point

It’s been a little bit since I last shared some work on the journal so I’m really excited that I finally get to share a beautiful snowy winter session with this extended family from Texas today. These kids and their family were here to visit their aunt and uncle at their new home in Golden and the family decided to schedule a lot of fun winter wonderland activities. One of them was wanting to get some fun family photos enjoying the snow together. Sadly (for some, I haven’t minded too much!) there hasn’t been a whole lot of snow down here in the Denver metro area so I suggested that we might want to meet up at Sapphire Point since it’s not too terrible of a drive depending on the ski traffic and construction to find some good snow. I also really love how easy it is to get a gorgeous, dramatic mountain backdrop at this location. We got lucky with a really beautiful, somewhat warm day for winter when we were there. Below are some of my personal favorites that we created together.
