Boulder Family Photos at Shanahan Ridge Trailhead During Spring

This family bought a gift certificate for their mom as a gift over a year ago with the intent to get a 3 generation portrait created. But, when her granddaughter got pregnant they decided to push it back a little more to do a 4 generation family portrait. We met up at the Shanahan Ridge Trailhead about a week ago for these and luckily the recent fire did not touch this beautiful section of the woods in Boulder. I’ve started heading to this trailhead to escape some of the crowds at other popular trailheads in the area and I really love how quickly it feels like you’re out in nature there. I love that they got to spend a little bit of quality family time hanging out together while we created these. Below are just a small handful of some of my favorites.
