Last year I was searching for a location where I could take a wedding party out in Evergreen and one of my photographer buddies clued me in on this awesome location about fifteen minutes up Squaw Pass Road with a beautiful mountain view and lots of pretty color. It worked perfectly for that wedding and ever since then I’ve been hoping one of my clients would want to go for that spot again. Luckily Katherine & Brent were looking for some good fall foliage for their engagement photos and we decided to head up the mountain for the pretty yellow aspen trees. We were threatened with a rain out, but went for it anyway and I’m so glad we did since it looked absolutely beautiful and we got a lovely sunset from all of the clouds that evening too. The last time I was here I didn’t get very long to explore since it was a wedding day but this time we got to hike in a little ways and we discovered a fun little branch fort that someone had created. I love what we were able to create that evening. Check it out below!
It’s hard to pick a face, but I love that rustic fence and dramatic sky in this one:)
