Golden Gate Canyon Engagement Photos

I have the cutest Golden Gate Canyon engagement photos to share with the world today. When I first met with Markley about her wedding next fall down in Redstone, Colorado she told me about how she met Trent basically through his dog. She works with animals and kids at her job with 4H but before she did that she was a dog groomer. Trent brought his dog in to get a haircut one day and met Markley. So I think it is very fitting that they chose to bring all three of their furry doggie family with them to their engagement photo shoot. I really loved the action and the energy that they brought to the photos. You could tell they were pretty pumped to be out and about at Golden Gate Canyon State Park which is where we met up for the session.

I really love the abundance of forests with aspen trees at Golden Gate Canyon State Park. There is really nothing quite like the sun peeking through the leaves as they glitter all around you. And we even managed to find a few wildflowers for the photos too. Around sunset we made our way to Panorama Point to see if we could catch a mountain view at sunset and I’m happy to report that we succeeded in that. We even caught the moon in a couple of our photos. I am so glad that we were able to catch this pretty slice of Colorado scenery in their engagement photos since these two lovebirds are heading back home to Trent’s family on the east coast. I hope that when they look at their pictures they are brought back to their Colorado life where they first met:)
