Gorgeous Fall Color Family Photos at Roxborough State Park

Beautiful Autumn Family Photography at Roxborough State Park

I have had the pleasure of getting to meet up with this family who have two rambunctious young boys for the past few years to photograph them in various beautiful locations throughout the Denver metro area. I think this year’s session might be my favorite of their photos so far because the scenery was gorgeous and the boys were happy and having fun that evening. We meandered along the trail to get some of the stunning, dramatic red rock scenery in their backdrops. This park is incredibly beautiful year round due to the red rock formations but it’s an underrated gem of a place during fall color season too. Most people are interested in looking for the golden aspens during autumn in Colorado but I am really fond of the red/orange colors you can get with the scrub oak at Roxborough State Park. Below are a small selection of some of my personal favorites we created together that evening.
