The Holidays are the perfect time to get extended family photos taken. It’s usually the one time of the year when families make sure to meet up and spend some quality time together. And when family has traveled out of state to see each other I think it’s all the more important to try and make a family portrait happen. The family featured on the blog today hasn’t had a family photo taken together in about 10 years! I am so glad they were able to make it happen:) We photographed them in their parent’s beautiful wooded backyard in Monument, Colorado.

I always love snow sessions. Beautiful family portraits, and I just love that second to the last photo with the light peaking through the trees behind them. Gorgeous!
