Lesbian Wedding Proposal at East Mount Falcon

I am so excited to share these cute lesbian wedding proposal photos today! ‘Tis the season for wedding engagements! I read somewhere once that 40% of people propose between November and February due to the holidays. Today I have a very special proposal photo session because my little sister, Gabby proposed to her love, Meghan. Some of you long time readers might recognize Gabby because she often works as my assistant at weddings. I’m so excited that she gets to start planning her own special wedding day. If she’s anything like me, she’ll be inspired by all of the awesome couples that we’ve photographed throughout the years. One perk of being in the wedding industry is getting to see first hand cool little touches that other couples have done for their wedding day and picking and choosing from the wide variety of neat ideas for your own wedding.

Colorado Lesbian Engagement Pictures at a Red Rocks Family Session

Gabby asked if we could figure out a way to photograph her Colorado lesbian wedding proposal back in November and I of course wanted to make this happen for her. So we told Meghan that we were just doing a really quick session to get a Christmas card photo of the family together. We had it all planned ahead that after we did the family pictures I’d set up a photo of the two of them alone in front of a pretty background and then Gabby could make her move. I made sure the kiddos were standing near me so they could see it happen too. It worked perfectly and Meghan had no idea this was coming.

Congratulations to my little sis and the special woman in her life! And congratulations to all of the other happy couples out there getting engaged this season too!
