Morrison Trail Family Photography in Colorado

East Mount Falcon Trailhead Red Rocks Family Photos

Bret wrote to me to find out about getting some photos taken with his family at Red Rocks and since he was looking to do these during summer and they have such a heavy concert and event schedule I suggested we do them at the East Mount Falcon Trailhead (now known as the Morrison Trailhead I believe?) which has beautiful views of Red Rocks Amphitheater off in the distance as well as a few smaller red rocks formations along the trail. It’s the perfect spot for those looking for Red Rocks since we can still get the iconic concert venue in some of the photos while avoiding the crazy traffic jams that come with driving around the venue itself. The evening started off a bit more windy than I would have liked and it was threatening to rain but our patience paid off and by sunset we couldn’t have asked for a prettier evening. Below are some of my favorites we created together that evening.
