Niwot Family Photos At Home During Christmas

I have some absolutely gorgeous Niwot family photos to share on the journal today. A pretty cold winter storm blew in last week and really set the scene for getting some holiday family pictures created here in Colorado. I went out to Niwot which is the town where I went to high school and met this sweet family who were having a family get together during the Christmas season. They wanted to get their Niwot family photos created while their grown children were visiting. They decided they wanted to get some updated family photos done in front of their beautiful gold colored Christmas Tree and fireplace mantel. I loved their classic, elegant look with everyone dressed up in black and white. All of the pretty gold holiday decor looked amazing with their classic look. It was definitely a very pretty gilded holiday scene straight out of a picture book.

They are such a good looking family and they have the sweetest, shy kids too. They were very cute and I loved that they each took a turn at the end getting a nice picture with their grandpa. When they are all grown up they are going to love that they have those photos with him to look back on. I photograph lots of families who are in town visiting family and who aren’t always all in one place to get their family photos. Doing them at home is a great option when trying to save time and squeeze in a nice professional family picture while everyone is together. I’m so glad this Niwot family managed to get these created while the grandkids are so little. They’ll definitely cherish these when they’re older. Check out some of my favorites below!
