elcome to the journal for April O’Hare Photography! Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. At the bottom of the page I’ve highlighted some of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past. Grab a drink and have fun going down the photo rabbit hole!

Parker Family Photographer During Fall

October 31, 2012

As a Parker family photographer I have a beautiful fall color family photography session to share with the world.  It’s been busy busy busy here in photography-land. But my friend Annia Lateher who I met at roller derby (as you probably have already deduced) needed some updated family pictures. Her little man is getting so big and her boyfriend and his son also needed some updated family photos.  So we decided it’d be a nice reason to get some blended family pictures for them.  We went to an area known as McCabe Meadows which has a portion of the Cherry Creek trail there.  It’s one of my favorite places to use in Parker for family photos.  I love creating portraits for her so had to fit her in during the busy fall season. We managed to get these family photo taken care of before Colorado lost all of it’s gorgeous fall color. And it ended up being such an incredibly nice day too.  The sun was out providing some lovely warm light so that we were all comfortable.  We stayed right through sunset enjoying some family time hanging out in the great outdoors.  I find that the uninterrupted quality time spent with each other is one of the best side effects of doing a family photography session. Here are just a handful of my favorites of what we got that nice warm evening.

Annia & Brett,
Hope you guys love the photos we were able to create together as much as I do. I’ll be in touch soon!
