Cute Maternity Portrait Session with a Labradoodle in Colorado

I am so in love with this maternity session I am sharing on the journal this evening. I met up with Becky & her husband Justin to photograph her adorable baby bump. This is their first baby and they’re so excited! They recently moved here to Colorado to start a family and as someone who grew up here, I think they’re really going to love living here. They wanted a pretty location to share the beauty of Colorado with their friends and family back home and decided on the rugged forested area of the West Mount Falcon Trailhead for their photos. I love all of the rocky outcrops and mountain views at this location and I especially love the way the sunlight peeks through the trees as the sun sets creating a lovely warm glow in the photos. I was so happy that they brought their sweet labradoodle, Penny Lane with them too. She was really giving me some good face in their pictures and had me cracking up when she suddenly got the zoomies and ran around in circles like a little maniac for a minute. Huge props to Justin for lasting as long as he did at our session after a long day at work. I scheduled us for just over an hour for these, but I swear, the light just lasted longer that day and I was loving what we were getting so much that I ended up holding him a little bit hostage there toward the end;) But, I think when they see these they’ll see that it was all worth it!
