Evergreen Senior Photography on Squaw Pass Road
I have been busy this past week and it’s been fun to get back out there after a snowy wet couple of months that we’ve been having. Today on the journal I get to share this handsome young man’s senior portraits that we created up at my favorite mountain location close-ish to Denver. I made the same mistake I’ve made in the past where it was a nice hot day down in Denver and forgot to bring a jacket with me to this location which is about 4,000 feet higher in elevation. Let’s just say I am a tough chick and managed to finish up my session in a short sleeve t-shirt with snow on the ground. (Thank goodness we didn’t have any wind that evening, that would have been a game changer for sure). You’d think growing up here in Colorado I would always remember to bring a jacket with me when heading into the mountains but when it’s blazing in the city you sometimes just forget!
I have had the pleasure of photographing this young man before when he and his family were visiting up in the Breckenridge area. They were visiting from Texas and his big brother was also getting some senior photos created at our last session. They love Colorado so much that they decided to pick up and move out here. Both of their sons are going to school at Colorado Mesa University so they’ll get to be closer to them while they are in college and get to enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. I’m so happy for them that they were able to make the move out here. I love that Jonah gets to show off his new home in his senior photos too. Check out a handful of my favorites below!
