elcome to the journal for April O’Hare Photography! Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. At the bottom of the page I’ve highlighted some of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past. Grab a drink and have fun going down the photo rabbit hole!

Riverfront & Confluence Park Denver CO Engagement Photographer

September 26, 2010

I met up with Gabby and Brion on Thursday night near the REI on the Platte River in Downtown Denver.  We stopped by the Paris Wine bar (http://www.parisontheplattecafeandbar.com/)  for a couple beers to take the edge off of a long day’s work:)  Feeling refreshed we got right to work on getting some fabulous engagement pictures.  There are some really colorful storefronts and alleyways in that neighborhood and we certainly took advantage.  At the top of the hill in Confluence Park there’s a great view of Denver and on Thursday night there was a full moon which made the view pretty special:)

Gabby & Brion,

Thank you so much for the beer!  I had such a great time hanging out with you guys and getting you know you better.  We are going to have so much fun at your wedding next spring:)  I’ll be in touch soon with the rest of the session!

Hello! I absolutely love the location and photos! I was wondering if the top three or four were taken at Paris on the Platte?

  14. April says:

    Hi Jade,
I think those were in that general area. I think maybe a little farther north on Platte Street though. I can’t remember for sure. Hope that helps:)
