Sloan’s Lake Engagement Photos
I have the prettiest summertime Sloan’s Lake engagement photos to share today! I’m so pumped that I finally had some time today to prep these photos for the blog. I photographed Kristi and Daryn last week for their engagement photo session and we had so much fun and created all of these beautiful images. They wore the cutest clothes for this little photography date and went to two very distinct places to get some variety in the pictures for them. The first place we went to is near their home at the Bear Creek Greenbelt in Lakewood. I was really excited to find the overgrown leaf tunnel that I had discovered earlier this spring when it was nothing but branches. I was sure that when it grew in it would look cool for photos and it was even better than I was expecting!

The mosquitoes and heat were out in full force trying to make our lives miserable so we didn’t stay too terribly long before heading over to Sloan Lake where Daryn used to live and has spent a lot of time. We timed it to be closer to sunset so that we could get that beautiful view of the mountains and the downtown skyline with the pretty golden light. When the sun finally dipped behind the mountains there was the most beautiful pastel pink and blue sky with the light just barely glowing on Kristi & Daryn’s faces and I can’t describe it as anything other than just plain magic. It’s making images like that one that I just live for with my work. I am a lucky girl that I have such fun and friendly clients who play along and make it work!
